A youth-led initiative for community unity, positive edutainment, and non-violence, Summer of Peace is an annual gathering which presents a collaborative and colorful day full of anti-violence information and resources from more than 25 area organizations & its an on going youth program to demand peace through dynamic events, workshops, dance, music, art exhibits and community conversations. A "Peace Summit", "Peace Parade" , "Peacemaker Recognition Ceremony" , 'Peace Treaty Pledge Signing" and the SOP "Stop the Violence" Youth Performance Showcase are all a part of this powerful phenomenon which is quietly steered by Fidel and a committed team of leaders and parents.
