Gil Scott-Heron will be missed greatly, his contributions to revolutionary music and culture is iconic. I have a section in one of my presentations where I talk about some pre-hihop forefathers and pioneers in rap. The 'Last Poets, Gil Scott-Heron' part just got increased.
