Recently went to the Zulu Nation 40th anniversary event. It's an amazing learning experience of history & culture. It takes a great man or woman to build a nation. Afrika Bambaataa is someone I teach my students about. His story from gang leader to social revolutionary and artistic icon is one they automatically relate to & need to know!
